A Mountain of Fun in the Summer

Bousquet's mountainside is a location for fun on wheels in the summertime. We maintain a series of mountain-side paths for kids to zoom down to the base lodge. There are 2 ways to come down the hill without walking - on Deval-karts or on the scenic chairlift.

The Deval-karts - Open on Weekends Only

What can be more fun on a summer day than to feel cool mountain air rush past as you ride through nature on a Deval-kart. Ride up the mountain on the chairlift & zip down the mountain path on a speedy Deval-kart. The driver must control the ride using the steering wheel & brakes.

The Deval-karts pictured on the left require the rider to sit upright. Bousquet supplies the helmet & the driver supplies the steering & braking to get down the Mountain.

Deval-kart Requirements

Riders must be 16 years of age or older & be 54" in height in order to use the equipment safely

All riders must sign a release of liability form. Minors must present a form that is co-signed by a parent or legal guardian. It is the climbers'/parents'/guardians' responsibility to comply with this rule.

The Scenic Chair Lift Rides - Open on Weekends Only

Glide to the top of our mountain on the scenic chairlift ride. Not only are the views of the Berkshires stunning, you will always gain a cool breeze no mater how hot the weather.

From the top of the mountain you will enjoy majestic views of Mt. Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts, the rolling foothills of the Berkshires, Lake Pontoosuc & Lake Onota.

Needless to say the fall foliage is spectacular
